But they feel so good. Go check with anyone, he's still a top 10 SS. Landry was selected to the 2013 Pro Bowl on December 26. Landry signed a four-year, $24 million contract, with $14 million guaranteed, with the Indianapolis Colts on March 13, 2013.
These days most of the safeties and corners in the league get burned often, I don't know how you can tell who is very good to tell you the truth.
Stevan Ridley (knee) to get MRI; Pats fear torn ACL By Gregg Rosenthal Around The NFL Editor Published: Oct. 12, 2014 at 05:58 p.m. Updated: Oct. 12, 2014 at 06:16 p.m. The New England Patriots convincingly won in Buffalo on Sunday, but it was a very costly victory. Running back Stevan Ridley and linebacker Jerod Mayo both suffered knee injuries, and they could both be serious. NFL Media's Albert Breer reports that Ridley will undergo an MRI on Monday, but there is concern that he tore his ACL. Per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, via sources informed of the situation, Mayo is believed to have suffered a "significant" knee injury and will have more tests Monday. The linebacker, who has led the Patriots in tackles in five of the last six seasons, immediately knew he was seriously hurt. Mayo's teammates took off their helmets and kneeled by him. Darrelle Revis told Breer after the game the injury was "tragic." Bill Belichick said the win was "bittersweet" because of Mayo's injury. Mayo also missed most of last season with a torn pectoral muscle. Mayo is one of the tougher players for the Patriots to replace because he's a leader and defensive signal-caller. New England also isn't very deep at linebacker after losing Brandon Spikes in the offseason. Chris White and safety Tavon Wilson helped to take some of Mayo's snaps Sunday. It would not be a surprise if those same Patriots are filling in for Mayo for a while. Ridley is the best pure runner on the Patriots and adds an element of toughness between the tackles that Shane Vereen simply doesn't bring to the table. Brandon Bolden stepped in to take some snaps in Ridley's place. Meanwhile, guard Dan Connolly had a head injury and was downgraded to out, meaning that New England's beleaguered offensive line has to make another change.
Damn man, it sucks because the Pats really have taken Ridley for granted. He has a history of coughing it up now and then, but QB's do too. Ridley is a really good tailback, wish him the best.
He has never been a safety that was very good at coverage over the top. He got beat quite a lot when he had to cover receivers deep. But...... He is an animal in run support, and cleaning shit up in the middle and on the sidelines as long as it was in front of him.
