I can see leaving a tip but it sounds to me like the owner is this establishment needs to get her some help... She's basically being tipped for being poorly staffed...
What i wanna know is why is there a pizza "delivery fee" that is not part of drivers tip. Does that mean they don't get any of it? I will tip at non-trad places based on effort, for example, buffet. They dont bring you food but they keep the drinks full and table clear. Thats worth at least 10-15% in my book. Most people dont tip at all. When I go pick up pizza, I put a dollar or two in the comm. jar. Not much but a lil something for prompt attension at counter.
At a buffet I will leave a dollar for each time they refill my drink. I don't usually refillbit but once or twice.
