    It discourages newbies from posting. They say something naive and get hammered with dislikes and they leave before ever getting a chance to fit in. Its a reason why the old "negative rep" got dropped.

    I admit it would be fun to annoy Hudson Hallman and his ilk, but it is best if we just make a few snide remarks.
