I had lunch with a scout yesterday. We talked about the differences in the defensive philosophies between John Chavis and Kevin Steele and he got into breaking down how Steele would use multiple formations to pressure the quarterback while still containing the running game. Then he showed me the knots he had learned to tie at the last scout meeting.

 

Did yall see La'El Collins absolutely destroy that poor linebacker for San Diego?

 

I think he has a different kind of motivation now.

 

He is blocking to slap every owner/gm who passed on him straight in the face.

 

For a Texans fan, this is quite bitter sweet.

 

I'm a Texans fan, Blue has done very well since making the team, Hilliard is doing well, good to see the Tigers do good in the NFL. La'el's block is another thing people are talking about. The best line in the NFL has a great backup

 

I know, as Texans fan I hate seeing the Cowboys win, and snagging LC was a huge win. I love Blue and Hilliard, but hate to see Fosters soft ass hurt again.

 

I still haven't forgiven them for calling themselves Texans instead of Oilers
