It's not splitting an atom but I guarantee you they weren't just telling him "hey mo, cover 88 nyuck nyuck nyuck"
6th i believe. mo claiborne showed some of the best ball skills ive seen for a defensive back. didnt he play opposite patrick peterson one year. unfortunately, hes not the most well adjusted/brightest kid. he stormed out after being benched which may be a reflection of the 4 he scored on the wonderlic.
very true, im giving him a pass, the scheme for his intellect was hard to grasp in his first year, once you feel like you are behind, then you are behind. He would be well served in another city.
new orleans has plenty of openings if i were the coach. yeah corey white, p-rob and kenny vaccaro, im talking to you. jarius byrd had been playing hurt so ill give him a pass.
Claiborne has missed all but 2 preseason games in his career. He is always injured. Cowboys ask him to play alot of zone coverage (which he sucks at) and he has not stood out in man to man coverage (unless it is to receive a PI). He won't get healthy again and have a long career. It is always something else. College football wore him down.
its more mental than physical. this is your prototypical head-case. has all the skills but thats not his issue.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? He needs to be on the field to prove that point. But yes, when he has played he has looked like a lost puppy. He has one of his best offseasons and the coaching staff is raving about the work he put in. He gets hurt before the first preseason game and sits until the regular season. Then gets hurt again.
its like a woman trying to escape her craziness. its not possible. and is always the basis for whatever issues of the day she has.
