Ego and Freak: I see Ego going before Freak in the draft, Ego had the better year. To me Ego is strong and quick off the ball. Plugs the middle and will get into the backfield, disrupt the play. Moves sideline to sideline, good leverage and uses hands well. Holds his ground well. Could see him as a late 3rd round, early 4th round pick, some have him in the 2nd round. With a run on DT, you never know where a draft will head. Anthony Johnson, a lot like Ego with speed, at times this pass year, offsides penalties caught him. Has to do a better job playing under control. Good first step with good strength. Once again, a 3-4th round pick, many teams like him, not a deep a DT class. Both these two, along with the other LSU players, could have a great showing in the LSU Pro Day. These two could be drafted close, the run with DT's will be one position to watch on Draft Day.
Looking like by many Jeremy Hill could be the first RB taken in this years draft, a little info from a Draft Scout I know. Keep an eye on the Browns, in taking LSU players, they have 7 picks just in the first 4 rounds. 2 picks in the 1st round, 1 in the second, 2 in the third and 2 in the fourth. The first LSU player taken last years draft, Mingo, an yes, to the Browns. The Browns need help in a few positions QB, RB, WR, ILB and OG for starters. With a total of 10 picks in this years draft. Another team with a number of picks, the 49'er with a dozen. They are looking to build on what they have, WR, LB, RB, DL and maybe Safety?
Please God no. The browns are just a wretched organization and I hope Mingo can make it out of there alive. I don't hate them, they just suck.
