Who is bashing him? All I'm saying is as a receiver I like Landry more. Fuck I love both of em but if I had to choose I'd take possession beast over the home run dude.
I've said this before, not many players have that true 4.4 or 4.3 speed. But I do see football or field speed. The fastest DB that ran was Phillip Gains, with 6'0 3/8" and 193#'s, he led his team in Ints. with 5 for the year. Gaines ran a 4.34 twice. Loston will have a shot in the NFL, with more teams going with tall WR's, more and more teams are fielding a big package, more CB, more Safeties, look at the number on DB's on a roster. All these Tigers will get another shot April 9th in the Field House. Might get a better shot to show what they can do. They had Loston at 6' 0 5/8" 217#'s an a 40 time of 4.62 and 4.59 (unof). DBU yep. Since 2007, LSU has had 12 DB's drafted into the NFL, at least one every year. In those 7 years, 4 have been drafted in the 1st round. Mo Claiborns 40 time, 4.50 at 5'11" 185#'s. An we all know how high he was drafted.
With the 28th pick in the first round, the Carolina Panthers pick..............OBJ? Don't know if hes around that long? http://www.panthers.com/news/article-2/Mocking-the-Panthers-10/ea8c9af5-0010-4e1f-80d0-2edf6b39185d
I would be very disappointed if OBJ is there at 27 and the Saints pass on him...unless its to take Landry.
Over the years the Saints have drafted 7 players out of LSU, the first player taken was in 1981, Hokie Gajan. In the 10th round. They have taken 2 players in the 2nd round, none in the first. The two in the 2nd, Dalton Hilliard and Devery Henderson.
