Williford was projected high before the injury, he had played the position for a long time and had done a good job.

    I don't think I did a write-up on Barrow.:(

Lamin is 6' 1" 237#'s. good size and speed. Can play inside or outside positions. Can help on Special Teams. Finished up at LSU with 230 Tackles. Led the team in tackles last season and finished behind Minter, 2nd on the team in 2012. A leader on and off the field, he wore the #18, that tells you how hes seen. Tackles well, finds the ball carrier and hits well. Played under Chief and understands the game. Had a solid week at the Sr bowl, remember Kelvin Sheppard had a good week and was drafted by the Bills, in the 3rd round. Teams like the players Chief and LSU turns out. Very athletic player. I could see him inside in a 3-4 or outside on a 4-3, that helps his draft stock a little. I like him in the middle to late 4th round. Don't know if he makes it into the 5th.

Williford was just there to support his teammates and for the free gear. He knows his career is over.

Good to see him being included. I briefly scanned the article. I also recall an article during the season about Williford that detailed his concussion symptoms and it was pretty scary stuff.

I also heard an interview around the same time from a doctor during the NFL concussion discussions. He was saying that the consensus is now that the brain requires time to heal. In the old days, players would come back way too soon before the brain was healed and make it worse. He said if you give the brain time to sufficiently heal, it will almost always fully repair itself. Maybe Williford didn't have the knowledge (in high school or early college) that exists today and damaged his brain beyond repair?

Too Add on OBJ and Landry, whats between them, you only hear talk on OBJ and not much on Landry. The run of good times at LSU has helped Landry, not with me, I knew he could play. I tell people all the time, you can play football or you can't, its that simple. Heights, weights, times are great, but can he play football? Ok on to OBJ getting all the press and Landry not as much:

Some have him rated higher or even with OBJ. Like I said, I don't see much between them. OBJ gets a slight nod by being a PR/KR guy, but Landry could also do the same in the NFL if needed. What most are seeing is something that I saw long ago, the QB's are starting to drop a little in the darft. Don't need much to get a run on WR's. I said before, any normal draft class, Landry would be in the 1st round. A run on WR's, Landry is moving up. Too many teams need WR's like OBJ and Landry. Both have the benefit of working in a Pro system with Cam, they know the terminology and can run the NFL Route Tree. Both can come in from day one and start working out within a system. Cam has gotten calls on every player coming out of LSU, the Pros like the LSU players, they find they get more for the money. Chief, Cam, Les and the staff do a great job getting players ready for the Pro's, look at the NFL personnel that showed up at LSU this year. Too many players in spots of need in the NFL. Mett was one that everyone wanted to see, Landry's improvement in numbers, helped both players. I have word that one team has Mett as the #1 QB in this years draft, there could be more than one, who knows. But a bunch of teams need help at that position and he can make all the NFL throws even with him not at 100%.

If the Saints go for one of them, I think OBJ will be more of a downfield threat that we may be looking to finally replace Devery. Landry could fit as a possession type receiver, but OBJ can be a return man, and is from N.O., so it would be nice to get him.
