A little more info on today at LSU...... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2023188-zach-mettenberger-breaking-down-lsu-qbs-pro-day-workout
On the NFL Network, some talk as to Mett reminding some of Matt Ryan...anyone remember the former LSU coach that coached Matty in college?
Mostly people basing that off of his combine time. Which was why I was happy to see such a better time at Pro Day. With his improved time the only knock I can see people saying is limited pass catching experience (even though he's been good when catching), blocking, and off the field. Honestly I'd have him as my No. 1 RB. Barring injury dude is going to be a beast in the NFL.
Interesting that the first pro voice quoted in that article is Sean Payton. The conversation has begun regarding whether or not it is time for the Saints to be looking for Drew Brees' eventual replacement. Could they be thinking its Mett?

I noticed that the following players participated in Pro Day and wondering if anyone has any further updates: Josh Williford - Concussion ended his LSU career. Is he better now and trying to make an NFL roster next year? Lamin Barrow and Ego Ferguson - Both had pretty good careers. Where are they projected? Richard Murphy - I always thought he had a lot of ability at LSU but injuries and other really good RBs during his time limited his carries. I think that he was on the Jags roster for a year or so. What are his chances of getting back on an NFL roster next year? Jordan Jefferson - Any feedback from the scouts on his participation in Pro Day? Where does he go from here?
