    the rankings com eout 3 times of the year. The one you were looking at includes the summer sports, you can download the entire list to look at it but it is quite large/wide.

    LSU got 50 for first place in football instead of USC even though the NCAA supposedly does not acknowledge a football champion.

    stanford has a big advantage also because they participate in just about every sport sport except Ice Hockey therefore thay get to drop their lowest rankings and only count the 20 they scored the most points in.

    The list was updated periodically throughout the year. The sports shown in the latest/last udpate were ones that recently finished (like baseball). If you check out other pages on the site, you'll see that something like 20 sports total were used.

    Football is definitely in there.

    Stanford wins that trophy every year...which basically renders it meaningless.
