I think he means that Tennessee is the only SEC East team to date that has played Florida this season.

Most likely team to win the SEC East?

I'm left a bit confused after this weekend over the criteria for being named division champion. The CBS commentators said that Tennessee winning out means they control their own destiny, while another news outlet (can't remember if it's ESPN or Fox Sports) said the exact same thing for Florida. Since UF beat Tennessee like a drum, I'm inclined to believe the latter, but can someone who knows the rules please clarify? Also, which team is the most likely to represent the SEC East by season's end: UF, S. Carolina, UK, or Tennessee?

USC clearly controls its own destiny. UT can win out in SEC games and jump UF. As can UK, but that wont happen. Looks like if USC can handle UF, they will be in Atlanta. But then again, this is the SEC, and who knows...it could be UT.

    EASTERN DIVISION
    S. Carolina 3-1
    Florida 2-2
    Georgia 2-2
    Kentucky 1-1
    Tennessee 1-1
    Vanderbilt 1-2

If UT wins all their games left in the SEC, they only have one SEC loss, so no matter what UF does, they will still have two SEC losses, thus UT represents the east. The same goes for UK and USCe, but UK has us and UF back to back weeks, doesn't look good for them, and USCe still has UF to play. UT has already played UF and lost big but if they finish 7-1 in the SEC it doesn't matter how bad that UF trampled them.

Every game we play from here till the "end" is gonna be tough, but as long as they maintain composure...play "their" game and avoid the "major" injury bug...at the end of the year we'll be fine people. One game at a time...One game at a time!

BTW, thats kinda "cliche" dont ya think...cause when it comes right down to it, "every" team pretty much controls its own destiny...( just an observation )

no. well, only before the season starts.

my point in more detail is that after the loss to MSU and USF id guess many tiger fans basically pushed the auburn game way down their list of games LSU should worry about. with the UF win Auburn's season has turned around. the game will be for the west as usual. itd be nice if they lost to arky though.
