Mine is sent, sorry it took so long. If you can't count mine, no big deal, it was time for me to look at all of the teams anyway. :thumb:
It will be limited to just 25 from now on... I wanted 40 to see how practical it was... It was not at all, so I cut it to 25...
Here it is folks!.... Here we go... 750 total possible points.... Preseason TigerForums.com Top 25 USC(29) - 749 LSU(1) - 691 Michigan - 607 Texas - 601 Tennessee - 590 Miami - 561 Ohio State - 556 Oklahoma - 555 Iowa - 546 Virginia Tech - 464 Georgia - 430 Florida - 429 Florida State - 396 Louisville - 312 Auburn - 311 Arizona State - 275 Purdue - 252 California - 198 Alabama - 181 Texas A&M - 156 Boston College - 139 Virginia - 112 Pittsburgh - 85 Texas Tech - 78 Boise State - 72 Others receiving votes: Georgia Tech (58), Minnesota (46), Utah(44), Fresno State (39), Penn State(25), NC State (20)
Now for my own addition to the poll.... The AWARDS! Most Biased: MarineTiger - Wondering where that (1) came from right next to LSU? Well here he is... the only one who didn't put USC as #1.. Most Forgetful (or biggest Horn hater..): tiger777 - Jeez, Texas ranks 4th in the poll overall, and this jackass doesn't even give them a vote... Hell, if he had given them a top 19 vote, they would have been bumped up to #3.... good job there... Unusual Placement Award: NC State - only got two votes, but totaled 20. Two people have high expectations for them (top 20), but no one else... Out Of The Loop Award: Beaux-Bo - First of all... Cal is not worthy of having TWO votes in one poll.... I don't care what you think of them.... Secondly... you voted for Ole Miss.... lefire: ! Enough Said... Least Biased: LSUTiger327 - I only made this one because he is the only one who did not vote LSU in the top 5. Even the Barners...... Most Ironic: Hawker45 - Most Tigers voted his school higher than he did. Trying to be unbiased? Or just lower expectations than the rest of us? Most Dissapointing: Big XII North - Hey, that sounds familiar.... Not one of them got in the top 25... In fact, none got close. Closest was Nebraska (14). Strangest Vote: mcmikel - Memphis #25.... No where else on the list is another CUSA team, but Memphis (their only point came right here...). Biggest Surprise: Virginia - Making the Top 25 was, in my mind, unusual. Having to face FSU, Miami, and VTech is not an easy task.... Nowhere To Go But Up: Utah - What adversities do they have to face all year? Certainly not any football teams on their schedule... The only thing that I can see as a problem for the is losing Urban Bradsky (which shall be his official title from now on). Conferences Represented: SEC - 6 (we arn't biased or anything...) ACC - 5 Big XII - 4 Big Ten - 4 PAC 10 - 3 Big East - 2 and.... Mountain West - Boise State :thumb: I hope this is worth keeping a tradition here at TigerForums. Everyone who sent me a vote be sure to remember after that first week. I will make a list and PM everyone as a reminder.
Thanks for doing the poll, but you're mistaken with naming me as the "biased one"....I, in fact, did NOT put LSU #1. I had us ranked 3rd behind USC and Iowa--the defending (for the FIRST time) national champ, and the team that beat us and then followed up with a steller recruiting period. I even saved the PM that I sent you with my votes....
Crap, I thought we would be able to avoid any conspiracy in our poll. I guess there is no getting around it. So, who is the real culprit? We may never know.
