He will lose endorsements and he will not get some new endorsements but even if a guy like him loses 50% he is still going to be raking in major bank and be the highest paid. He was so up there in the stratosphere of sports marketing there is nowhere to go but down after this. Kobe wasnt anywhere near the plateau Woods achieved when he got caught with his pants down and Woods transgressions are far more damaging. Leaving a string of skanks and porn stars in his wake while Kobe was accused of a single incident raises the bar significantly in the court of public opinion. There are potential sponsors that will not align with him in the future but would have in the past. I hope SF is right and he uses golf to rehabilitate himself. I love to watch him play and perform the impossible and so does every other fan. However, his fall from grace and clout in sports marketing will take a hit. I bet his income drops 30% or more in 2009.

im surprised at many of you. this is clearly the ethical decision. they both committed to each other through marriage and they are now both willing to keep it. tiger is sick and needs help and his wife realizes this. they may be able work it out. i have more respect for each of them now that i did a month ago. and he isnt giving up golf. just touring. im sure he'll still play a lot, she just doenst want him on the road.
Why do you say that to SF's remark? Tiger has proven multiple times over that at least a part of him does not care about his family at all. IF the only reason to stay together after that is money, then why not just take the monetary hit and get out of the relationship?
