I recall someone doing some statistical analysis of records to determine who actually had a "home field advantage". The study was based on the differential between winning percentage at home and winning percentage on the road. The team with the biggest home differential was Kentucky. They were average at home, but stunk on the road.

In my day, LSU was actually better on the road. We went from State in 84 to TOSU in 88 without losing on the road, not counting bowls.

Hasn't LSU also been better on the road, overall, during the Saban era? If so, that actually bodes well for our monster away schedule for '04.

Especially last year, so hopefully the road trend will continue.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah StacyO, I remember reading that post. I have seen countless numbers of similiar posts by LSU fans that are in no way derogatory towards AU and fans get deleted. Just think if our moderators we like that, the only villian poster that would still be allowed to post here would be Morgan.
I have seen Trojans on the AU forum trashing LSU BAD, and when Tiger fans tried to defend LSU against them, the AU mods would delete the LSU posts and leave very obscene posts by Trojans against us stay onboard.
You see this Bozo cadillacattack, he is a true snake in the grass Villian. His whole day he goes from board to board to board with negative LSU posts (except this one of course) and I have had an LSU poster join him (usmTiger). What a spineless PUNK!

Cadillacattack is definitely anti-LSU on the Auburn boards, he ain't even polite. But he behaves himself here, which is what we expect from a rival poster. I act the same way. On this board, I'll say anything I want about any rival including Auburn. I pull no punches and use whatever derogatory phrases I want to, if called for .

However on the Auburn boards, I bite my tongue and show a little respect. I don't kiss their ass and I say whatever I want, but I make my points without insulting them or cheerleading for LSU. I have a thick skin and I just let the LSU insults roll off my back. The corndog business is too silly to even get annoyed about, it's the best they can come up with for a taunt. I get flamed some, but I've never been deleted or banned, not even a warning.

Just because CA is a respectful poster here doesn't mean he has to kiss our ass on his own board. And he sure as hell doesn't. The villains are the guys who come to this board and try to start insulting us on our own turf. And guess what -- our moderators delete their posts, too.

I have read your posts over there and definitely looks like your trying to walk the line. I been visiting over there for a few years and while yours don't get deleted, I have seen many that have for less than what some of yours say.

Like I said, I have seen Trojans bash LSU hard, and when Tiger fans respond, their posts get deleted and the mods post "You will not disrespect our welcomed Trojan guests on this board", but it's ok for them to disrespect us over there with no deletions.

Red55, you must have missed a few threads over here in the last few weeks. CA has'nt been behaving on our forum, but yet no deletions. Bottom line is he has been upset over my posting his corndog thread he started, and ever since, he has resorted to childish name calling.
Is their something wrong with me posting his corndog thread here?
I am glad to see it bothers him so much, now I'll have fun with it.

    Red55,
Let me ask you what would happen if I posted something like this over there?

The only thing I never copied in the said thread is the 20000 word recap of the previous 10 yrs. And you call this behaving. Childish name calling for copying a thread. I am a LSU fan , I can post what I want here to a certain degree.

The real question may be why dheadtiger chooses to copy partial posts rather than the whole thread? Whassamatter dhead? Having trouble getting folks riled up if you actually post within the context of the original thread? Or maybe you just think that the people on this board can't make up their own minds if you show them the whole picture? That's right, you just keep spooning out that dogfood, moron.

There is no question that Brett lets people get away with stuff that would get people deleted on other boards. But I like the "no censorship zone" that Tigerforums has. The worst you say will usually just get you moved to the smack board. One has to be a total nimrod to get banned.

But I'm just not going to get upset by something rivals say on their own boards. Where else should they say it? Sure, they are biased. No, they don't have enlightened administrators like Brett. I don't go there expecting to be treated fairly. And I try to keep from inciting the locals, and so far they let me say what I want.

I'm not defending CA. If he comes here and insults us, then bash him! I'll pile on with you. If you lurk a rivals board, you are going to hear some things you don't like. If they lurk ours, they are going to hear some of the same stuff. And they should bite their tongues, too. I would much rather that the other boards adopt Brett's free speech policy than for us to start banning people and deleting any post that we don't like. Let us take the high road.

I fear no corndogs. It's the lamest taunt I have ever heard.

Red, I am with you. I like brett's policy best too. The thing is, I was'nt upset about the posts over there. I merely posted a thread here for some of the folks who don't subsribe to that forum to read, and CA came with the insults one after another, when, like you said, he should have bit his tongue. I just posted that one for you to read, their were a good bit more than that.
