How many people pay that kind of $ for sky boxes to actually watch the game?

I would have to think the decibel level may be a world record for a sporting event once that is completed.

even with club seats and sky boxes, I would have though more than 7k. But it doesn't really matter. I'm not a huge fan of this project but whatever.

If they actually allow a night game and the crowd is made up of true Tiger faithful with passion (and alcohol) that will stay til the end of the game, then yeah I would agree with you.

I don't know . . . The stadium did not get appreciably louder on the field when the sideline upper decks were added. It is the reverberation in the totally enclosed lower bowl that makes Tiger Stadium so loud.

If they want to make it any louder, they'll probably need to either tear down and rebuild the lower bowl or put a roof on the whole damn thing, and frankly, I don't see either happening.
