We'll know when Flynn's really 100 percent again when Crowton starts calling those option plays and draws the way he did vs. MSU and VTech. I remember not liking those plays much at the time. Until Matt pitched to Keiland vs. VTech and #5 jetted 60 plus yards to paydirt. Sure would like to see Matt get back to double-threat status soon.
CLM has always favored senior and experience. Just look at last year's running back situation. I'm not saying it's right but the end results have been good. Just wish one of them could hit a deep receiver. I also think we were a little vanilla against the weenies. Very few blitzes on D. I recall times playing VTech where we blitzed on almost every down. We will need some stiff hits on Tebone. We've rattled just about every QB so far. I'm hopin there are some hidden game plans that we will enjoy seeing this weekend. If we do poorly then we can Monday morning QB. Until then, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
I think I'm kind of on your side of the argument, but I don't think it's accurate to represent Perrilloux as the definite solution. Perrilloux has looked good running the ball and in mop up duty, but that's different from playing a whole game against strong competition. It's hard to blame Miles for wanting to slowly infuse Perrilloux instead of thrusting everything on him at once. I do wonder if we are infusing him enough, but your argument comes off as replacing Flynn with Perrilloux is a no brainer.
