It is still a busted play Like it or not that is what the play is called. When Mauck hit Green for a TD against UG it was called a busted play. I know QB and recievers are not going to quit on a play.
ah finally i see some true fan of tiger football, a win is a win. there are some people who feel they are sooo much smarter then the coaches maybe they should apply for a coaching job. there are some flaws in our team just like every other team in division I football no team is "perfect" all that matters is that we're winning games. i actually think its tougher to win the close hard fought games then it is to blow some1 out
much agreed, we go their best shot, just like i believe we got asu, tenn, aub, and fla best shot. if we caught them on a down week and blew them out would it be more impressive? maybe on paper, but realistically beating a team at their best is more impressive to me.
wrong again, ienstien. remember that i before e thingy. Skyler ran the wrong route from the beginning, hence a busted route/play. try to keep up.
I hope that doesn't happen. although it might improve the posts around here, I'll agree. Most every small problem we've had this year has been over reacted to. By many posters here, including myself. No one is exempt. There have been more than a few, jump to conclusion posts and some down right dumb AZZ posts. No examples given. Maybe we should use this Bama victory to start anew and step back and look at the sucesses and let some of the short comings rest? For they are fewer than most teams have. The TIGERS are having a grand year. Savor it. :geauxtige
The phrase, "Doofus with a room-temperature IQ comes to mind". I think you're DantheAuburntigerfan just here to cause trouble after the biggest win since 2003.
This was a hell of a game, but why could we not score after tieing the game up? Russell threw a couple of bad passes but he can't be fully blamed for the lack of offense. I was pretty upset after the first half, I was pretty excited after our defense returned to its form and our offense actually looked fluid. Then I felt like I was in purgatory after we did nothing more until OT. Playing not to lose, where is the killer instinct? The same thing happened last year. Why do we HAVE to be balanced? Can't we be flexible enough to take what the defense gives us, at least until they have to respond to that. Then we could return to balance. Or we could be mostly balanced, with a lean toward whatever the defense gives us. Why run our heads against a wall? I am very happy to be 8-1, but I was thinking during the game how many more people would complain if we lost against 'Bama. Some of you see things black and white, win and loss. I look at it as more of a spectrum of color. Playing close games like this leaves no room for error. If the opponent catches an extra break we are screwed. It does not seem to me a wise philosophy to not take a few risks to widen the gap between us and our opponent. Chris Jackson should be MVP of the game. JaMarcus played well. I was suprised to see Vincent have success, but he played tougher and more strong than I expected. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game; I had to listen while I worked.
