I'm very impressed with this team and what they've accomplished. I'm not ready to crown Miles as king of BR just yet. Their have been some things this season that still make me a bit uncomfortable with this coaching staff. Having said that, I think they did a wonderful job yesterday. Everyone complains that we went too conservative, but what would you have said if we had JaMarcus throwing it all over the field and he threw a couple of picks that led to Bama scores? We knew going in it was going to be a defensive struggle that we were going to have to play the field position game in. We didn't make a boneheaded play to cost us the game, I think that's largely in part to the conservative play-calling. What I was happy to see was us take a few more shots deep than we have in previous weeks. I hope that is a sign of things to come, and not just a one game thing.

Tirk, I know you never played football but here goes, when the QB has to run for his life and direct recievers with his fingers it is a busted play. or the play did not go like it was called or coached.
Actually, when the QB rolls out, the WRs are COACHED to continue their routes and get into space. And if the QB knows the routes, he knows where they're headed. And even better, if they have some chemistry, they can make the minor adjustments needed to successfully complete a play. Believe it or not, the games aren't played on a PS2 OR even on XBOX.
