Petersdump, er... Petersgulch ... ah, Petersburg, Virginia. South of Richmond. Born in Gulfport, Mississippi. High school in Fairhope, Alabama. Graduated from LSU in 1978 (BA History). Work at Civil War park and museum with two other LSU grads. We had a full page story in the LSU alumni magazine a couple of years ago. Way too many Virginia Tech fans here. No one seems to care about UVA football, which is fine with me. Anyway, most everyone in these parts is way more into NASCAR (Ecch!) than football. Nineteen hour drive to the REAL Death Valley.
Did you take T. Harry Williams Civil War course at LSU? It was the most interesting course I took by far.
Born Shreveport La. , attended Northeast La Univ. but was always a tiger at heart. Now live in San Jose California. Was transferred by the company i work for to California. 10 Years in Dallas, 10 years in Houston, 3rd year in California. Voting for Arnold in case anyones interested. Things i miss: LSU Football My Family in Dallas and Shreveport, Louisiana Food Southern View Points Normal Conservative Republicans Having a Winter Fishing Geaux Tigers
This will be a surprise: Macon, GA. Right in the thick of Dawg country. Attended LSU early 90's, have a UGA Bulldog for a brother (I tried!) Needless to say this has been one of the best weeks of my football life. Have been wearing LSU stuff all week, people HATE me, "friends" won't speak to me, it's friggin beautiful!!
i'm with u Macon......I'm in Marietta, Ga....work with nothing but Bulldogs...boy that win was sweet...flew my car flag, wore my shirts and my hats all week, just to rub it in. not many LSU fans up here. i dont see many flags flyin on game day
