Shreveport here. Baton Rouge ASAP! The drive is just long enough to be annoying, but WELL worth the drive once you get to the promise land!:lsug:
I am in the frozen tundra of Minnesota. Originally from LA and LSU alum, spent 7 years in Atlanta before moving up here in 99. The worst thing about being up here is missing SEC football. Especially the TIgers. No JP Sports, and when there is a choice between airing SEC or BIG Ten games, guess who I get to see? Northwestern vs. Minnesota.
Annie Boyd Dorn at LSU. When not at school I am from Jersey Village, Texas. It's in Northwest Houston.
woodville, ms--- An hour north of Baton Rouge. Not close enough though. Would love to see if they still rented out the old dorms in Tiger Stadium. Now that would be sweet!!!
Born in Baton Rouge, moved to Orlando for a few years, now I'm in Mandeville (near Covington) and trying to get back to Baton Rouge.
Since we are also listing places we have seen fellow Tigers, I have a few to post. Two years ago I went to a LA Dodgers game and while walking to my seats I saw a father and son both wearing LSU baseball t-shirts. They were traveling around the country visiting ballparks. We talked LSU football and baseball before the start of the game and the dad told me he had seen a lot of Tiger fans while traveling. And this is a strange one. In late July of this year I was driving in downtown LA. I came to a red light and saw a bum wearing 2 pieces of LSU gear. He had on a purple LSU baseball hat and the brightest yellow LSU jacket you have ever seen. He was very old and looked like he had been sitting there for 100 years. It was surreal. You see that type of stuff around here, but usually they are wearing local college stuff (if they happen to have college stuff on). So to see LSU out here on a bum in downtown LA was a surprise.
