The reason I knew that wasn't simply due to Kiffin (though it did play a role since that brought a lot of attention on Hayden.) USC, as I recall, went through three basketball coaches in the year of '13. I can't recall who was in the middle of the three. I do recall Kevin O'Neil coaching a lot of that season, then the second guy coming in, and then Enfield getting the job. I'd have to spend a few on google to remember the exact scenario/story.

Haden....no "y". I think it's a bit of an overstatement to say we went through three coaches in one year. It was your basic firing and hiring cycle. O'Neill was fired in January, Cantu was named interim, Enfield was hired in April.
