One of my brothers buddies got a ticket from an OU guy for 500 bucks about 10:00am game day. When he got to the game, they scanned it.. BONK !!! No work. Fake..... Dude was out 500 bucks, did not get in.. Man that had to suck..... The was some issue about 5 rows back in my section, something about 2 people with the same ticket. I thought that was impossible. I know there were cops going back and forth.
There were some nice pics of that party (State Palace Theatre) in the Times Picayune on Jan 5th. If you were sitting down in the VIP section then you should be able to pick yourself out. Unfortunately, there was no more TP's at the airport by 8:30 am on the 5th! Lady said people were buying 5-6 papers at a time!
Re: Fake Tickets That was me. I have talked to the police and DA. They will be prosecuting all fake ticket and scalping cases. They want to make it know that this stuff wont be stood for in NOLA.
I watched 3 guys walk into the dome with no tickets, just opened a door that had no ticket taker and walked right in....I couldn't believe it, the ticket lady that scanned mine didn't even notice as the 3 guys walked right behind me through the other door.
