One other thing. This does not include the game ticket. It guarantees you the right to purchase a game ticket or tickets for face value if the team you select goes to the bowl. You can also dump them off for a proffit if the team goes undefeated up until the bowl announcments.I think the game tickets are going to be somewhere in the $200.00-$275.00 range.
The tickets are mailed to your house within 15 days of receiving the money for the tickets is what I've been told. Not gospel but probably right on.
That's the beauty of this system. It is built off of emotion and not logical thought. LSU is obviously the highest because of close proximity and the chance of getting to the game. OSU has a very good chance of getting to the game but it's harder to travel so not as many people are trying to get tickets this way. Oregon is a great buy because they won't travel well to NO so there aren't many Oregon fans buying advance reserve. But LSU is certainly not 9 times more likely to get in and OSU is certainly not 5 times more likely. That's where logic and thought comes in. Mac has found that if you want to see LSU, your best value is to try and see the ducks. Quite frankly, I think they have a very good chance of being there. They have three easy games left, they will not be caught in the BCS and only need OSU or LSU to lose to sneak in. So if OSU loses, it's all good, you have tickets to the game, if LSU loses, you sell your tickets and make a nice profit. If LSU wins and so does OSU, you're out a few bucks but you're so high about the bcs championship game that you really don't care. Note: I don't condone gambling, it is an evil evil thing so don't do it if don't want to lose your money because you will. (that's called having my cake and eating it too) Edit: After reading this, I'm not sure if it makes sense but it does to me, sorry.
Because as of now they are the favorites to go to the BCSNCG. If LSU and OSU win out it will be LSU vs OSU...(forget about the Kansas stuff). If you think Michigan has a DECENT chance I think this is a good risk. If somehow LSU loses to Arkansas or SECCG you'll still make money. You can resell you shares on the market up until the day the final standings are released. At that moment all shares are final and tickets wil be shipped to your house. However say LSU or OSU loses...Oregons shares will SKYROCKET and you can resell you shares on the market and TR will send you a check for the amount you sold each share for.
Because we are located in the back yard of the championship game, therefore the demand is much higher.:thumb:
Exactly. Last year I got the Sugar Bowl tickets from TicketReserve BEFORE LSU sent us our tickets. That's my logic!
Say It is Oregon and LSU, do I get to choose my seat location or do I automatically get put next to Duck fans?
I think they stick you in the Terrace, no choice of seat location...just guarenteed connected seats. Bowls don't distribute all tickets to the schools involved....they give abunch to corporate, ticket reserve, travel companies, etc...so my guess is it would be a mixture...the LSU ones we had last year had a few NDers around us but mostly LSU...also you'd have to factor in the game is in NOLA so it will most likely be 3/4- 4/7 LSU and tons of LSU people are doing this (over on TigerDroppings) so even if they do stick you in Oregon section you won't be the only LSUers
