Carroll sux on it! He won't keep those 15 AP points with an LSU win over OK. He's gotta pose for the Media and his school ... he played by the same BCS rules on a level BCS playing field ... and lost to LSU & OK WITH A DECK STACKED AGAINST LSU ... The "LSU RULE" & the NYT Poll, lol. He's posturing for RECRUITING purposes ... also.

It will depend on if Michigan wants to win or not. If they do, they will run the ball most of the time, instead of trying to build stats. SC can't possibly stop Michigan, and if Michigan runs it, they will keep SC's O off the field.
Doesn't matter. I am going to repeat Dallas LSU's point and then quit reading "split NC" posts. There is only one NC game and that's between the BCS #s 1 and 2. It's part of an agreement signed on to by all participants, therefore "official". SoCal cannot change the rules in midstream. They can call themselves "Associated Press Champions" or "Newspaper Writers' Champions" but they can not call themselves "National Champions". That title is reserved for either OU or :lsug: . Like I've said before "You can call a pig a horse but it's still a pig".
Even though i think it should have been LSU-USC i think the two best teams in the country will be in New Orleans for the NC game. I think that part of the fix needs to deal with the issue of conference championship games. If Oklahoma doesnt play that game they are still undefeated and #1. LSU and OK both have 1 more win than USC does and that ought to count for something. I cant say i blame Pete Carroll for his comments but he was just fine with the BCS when it was screwing LSU. At least now we will have a fix put in and i am hoping it is the top 4 teams go to the two top BCS bowls. The winner of those games then play in a National Championship game one week after all the other bowls have been played. The game can be bid for just like the Super Bowl and played around the country every year. I am so glad that LSU was not the one looking in from the outside because it would not have changed. This is going to be a great game with two great teams in New Orleans. Whatever happens our Tigers have played with sportsmanship and dignity and damn i am proud of them. They have put it all on the line and they deserved to be there and be number 1 coming in. We all know that but we dont have the National Media running with our agenda. Keep focused Tigers and let us fans do your verbal fighting for you. You just keep taking care of business on the field. Geaux Tigers
