No miracle. Your team deserved to win. You were well coached and executed when it counted. Kudos to your players and coaching staff!

I hope we do get to meet again!!!

Congrats to the Hawkeye's .. they had the dead-eye

aim today.. we were out- hustled, desired and coached today .. but still proud of the Tiger's for always fighting back as you should be for the Hawk's ..

and .. the Tigers fulfilled my expectations this year .... but I thought we would loose 3 in regular season (I had picked Alabama - we always loose to them .. but it is good to see a new trend there.. hope it last for about 50 years or so ..) .. and a final thought ..

Maybe Saban did us a LAST favor .. even with the QB problems we had in this game .. his order of things showed that ... Flynn is not the ultimate magician (although he needs more playing time to make a final judgement) .. and .. JaMarcus did some growing up today for NEXT YEAR .. :geaux:

Flynn should not have been put in that position to win the game. He wasn't given the proper PT this year. Just threw him in the fire. Still hasn't shown what he can really do.
Some of his passes were just dropped...

On balance, I think both teams played to a draw. Both made nice plays, both made mistakes.

Kirk Ferentz did outcoach Nick Saban, but that shouldn't be too shocking since Kirk is obviously a heck of a coach.

You're D really swarms to the ball, very impressive, but I was most impressed with Drew Tate.

Good grief, that guy can ball. He's mobile, has great field vision and can thread the needle even when he's on the move.

And only a sophmore. If I sound jealous, it's because I am.

I've heard Iowa is well set for a nice run next year, but so is Ohio St. How's the Big Ten look for next year, as far as you know?

Great game, would've been a classic if I wasn't an LSU fan

    Big Ten in 2005

Well, the Big 10 (or 11 depending on what you believe...I refuse to admit Michigan actually exists... ) is going to be very tough next year. OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa look to be the top four teams next year, with Michigan as the early favorite in my book. Henne is only a freshman...dear lord he scares me...and Michigan never rebuilds, they reload. Of course, we won't get near the respect we deserve in Iowa. If you didn't notice in the game today, all the guys play with a chip on their shoulder because they have that "underdog" mentality. It's come in handy more than once in the KF era. Anyways, I'm getting off topic. The Big 10 will be tough next year, as always, and maybe the media will finally start to admit again that Midwesterners know how to play football.

I was stuck driving in an ice storm and listening to this game on the radio on my way to Milwaukee from Iowa. I have to say that I nearly put it in the ditch when Holloway caught that ball. Iowa's radio guys were absolutely going nuts.

The best part about the guy who caught the ball is that he is a senior who had NEVER caught a TD pass in his collegiate career. Just amazing.

Damn near as amazing as this game. Huge props to LSU and their fans.
