1. I just disagree. Their level of competition is deceiving and they will end up playing a BCS team in a bowl that will smack them all over the field. You have to take into account the quality of the teams they play. I know they have no control over their opponents right now, but that's just the way it is.
  2. Games are played on the field.... Zabransky, LeFors, Smith... all damn good QBs... I dont think they would be slapped all over the field... hell Utah and Bst. havent lost so they are doing something right.... Louisville had a good game, just mental errors...
  3. Why do yall keep on mentioning Louisville? They went to the Orange Bowl and nearly beat Miami....enough said.
  4. Doing something right or just playing in a weak conference. That's the whole debate.

Yes, Boise State is a solid squad and they have manhandled most of the teams on their schedule but just take alook at the teams they've struggled with.....

Squeaked one out by 3 points against Tulsa (currently ranked around 90)

Squeaked one out by 1 against BYU (currently ranked around 75)

Took double overtime to beat San Jose State (currently ranked around 107)

Now you tell me that the top teams in the SEC would have that much trouble with teams ranked 90, 75, and 107 all in the same year.
  5. Tennessee beat UGA but struggled against Kentucky AND Vandy... Im just saying chalk up the struggling to a bad day... like Florida last year for us.. .do you really think UF was better than us last year?... I just think they deserve some credit for WINNING games.
  6. Well LSU frankly got lucky beating OSU, while BSU beat them by ~20 ...and they beat LaTech by the ~same (or greater) margin than Miami, Auburn, or Tenn. My point is you can't go by opponents and point margin - you go by who wins, and since they'll never get to play an SEC schedule, we can't, and shouldn't, belittle them.
  7. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:

I nominate this post for most incorrect post of the year.

OMG I get it, he is being ULTRA sarcastic! silly me! great post dude! :thumb: We get it now!
  8. Vandy is a rivalry, they always play UT hard. Ok so a team struggles from time to time, but against three different teams in the same season all ranked below 70? I don't think comparing Florida to BYU, San Jose, and Tulsa is a very good comparison.

Look, Boise State could certainly hang with any given team on any given day, but to go through an entire SEC or Big 12 scedule undefeated, is another thing.
  9. I don't think anyone has said BSU would go through the SEC or Big 12 undefeated. If that is your argument, everyone on this board is in agreement.
  10. Im talking about this season... they havent lost... if LaTech went undefeated would u feel different... I think any team that goes undefeated deserves at least a new years day bowl, if not a BCS bowl.
