Will we have a 1,000-yard rusher? No, but LSU will lead the SEC in rushing again.

Will we have a 1,000-yard receiver? Probably not, but LSU could lead the SEC in reception yards . . . if a quarterback emerges.

I don't think anyone from that group of receiver will put up outlandish numbers. Too many targets for a QB to choose from to allow one of them to have big, big numbers. As far as RBs, I don't know about that enough to say. I would think that if the line blocks and one back steps up, they will have over 1,000. Or it could be a situation like Caddy and Ronnie last year. Two good backs splitting time and not demanding individual stats, but working towards team goals.

Stats don't mean jack if you aren't winning.

I think with UF and USC in the mix and being pass happy, which they will be, LSU will much too balanced to lead the league in passing or reception yards. Rushing we could lead the league in though, but I would bet that ends up being Arkansas unless they have found a QB that can throw the ball..

The Offensive line is very thin unless the injured kids recover quickly. Defensively, LSU needs to grow bejond its basic package.

Na, we already had one of those... but actually it should be stated like this...

Ron Zook was Florida's Curly Hallman.... (Well, I don't know if he was THAT bad...)

    Great post much love.

    No

    Yes - # 22 Broussard

Yes - Top 10 overall! Front seven very fast and athletic and the DBs are so fundamentally sound - they will shut down the passing game. # 21 Jackson is the best young prospect I have seen at cornerback since Willie Teal and he's in a dogfight for playing time with # 8 Stevenson. We will out athlete teams the way the Ole Ball Coach used to do back in the day.
