Thanks I have been away for a few days. Those first four notes are so electrifying I get chicken skin listening to that da da da da. When I used to live in Baton Rouge in the 70's that would really set the tone for the games. The 70's produced some very good teams although we are looking good these days after surviving the 90's.
Sometimes I'll be in my car and I'll put it on and I'll turn it up as loud as I can. Right before the 4 notes, as the cadence is playing, the chills and goosebumps start building up. As soon as the 4 notes hit, I kinda lose my breath and become speechless. It might sound ridiculous, but it just means so much. Geaux Tigers! 15 days, 3 hours, and about 27 minutes until kickoff.
