I think Les Miles will more than have the Tigers motivated to play. Not that they needed it, but this team has it's sense of purpose if you will. It seems to a player that every quote I've read or heard has been about playing for the people of this state. As Les would "contained to point, but after that it's let 'er rip"
I think LSU will make us proud win or lose. These kids have been through alot and just getting them back on the field helps there frame of mind. I know after seeing all the devastation over and over i was mentally down and i must say that being able to watch some other football games helped put things into perspective. I feel confident we will win but just in case we dont i know it wont be the end of the world. The sun will still come up and the news media and hollywood will still be bashing President Bush and finding ways to blame everyone else for what happenned. Life goes on. Give em Hell Tigers. .
I just hope they're not too emotional. If they are too riled up, they are bound to make a lot of blunders.
LSU will be so fired up for this one ASU better watch out the LSU d is going to eat kellar for dinner.... Fact ASU 0 (zero) sack vs Temple... JR will have big game
Even if they are, they will take a few plays to get it out of their system, then settle down and kick some ASU butts!:thumb:
I also read where Kellar threw two INTs against Temple. Think about what is going to happen against our pass defense.
Remember that was their first game of the season, every team has some inconsistency in the first game. We will likely make some bad plays too, I hope those INTs were due to more than just first game jitters. Regardless of a W or L, I will not be disappointed in the game. Our team is playing for the right reasons, and we should be supportive of them, win or lose, for the right reasons.
My old football coach used to tell us, "If you make a mistake, do it at full speed..." I wonder if there will be a "JB" type patch... maybe "NO"...
I read somewhere that they are wearing a fleur-de-lis for new orleans and a louisiana state flag on their helmets
