I don't understand how you think someone could be pissed at him, he made a mistake, just like anyone else here on this board has made them. I am not pissed at him, I am very very very sad.

I wrongly assumed that everone would automatically see this from my angle. The painful/emotional side and the issue of his public image, to me, are two completely separate matters to be discussed. I had no intention of causing additional pain, and for that I'm sorry. When such future differences arise, I don't think it's too difficult to discuss the issues without insults and name calling. After all, we're here for a common interest.
I truly do not believe LSUFan71 meant any harm in his original post. There are many articles circulating, each has a different take on the events that transpired that night. Hill's death was a tragedy and he will be missed. :bncry: But jet skiing at night without a life vest was not an intelligent move. Similar to not wearing a seat belt or riding a motorcycle without a helmet. :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal:
FWIW, my comment wasn't directed towards anyone in particular- just a general comment cause in relation to what you stated above. 71's a good guy. :thumb: His story about the band practice field near Kirby Smith at 3am, is one of my favorites of all times........sides, anyone who knows where L'Anse aux Paille is......... :wink:
