What seasoned veteran did I compare Lee to? I compared him to a TRUE Freshman Robert Griffin not Redshirt Freshman like Lee and the second comparison was Sam Bradford's Redshirt Freshman year stats so I not seeing the seasoned veteran you are talking about.

He is really good, and I'm not trying to spark a huge debate because I agree with you that he's extremely gifted and is in the national spotlight for a reason. However, there have been fans on this site that have also questioned Sheppard's passing ability. Gone so far as to say his passing statistics are hardly impressive.

Again, just throwing that out there....

Tell me..which one of Robert Griffin's 3 Wins & 6 losses impressed you the most? Iowa St. / Norwestern St. / Washington St.? I bet all those Uber powers have 1st rounders playing Cornerback too.

The SEC plays much better defensive football than the Big12. When was the last time an LSU QB passed for 72% - 74% & actually lost the game? Check out Sam Bradford & Robert Griffin this year, if you don't believe me. I'm sorry but completing 74.3% of your passes like Robert Griffin did against Missouri & losing the football game is pitiful defensive football. Lee's not bad, 5 Starts & he is behind 2 SEC QBs: Stafford & Tebow in SEC Pass efficiency. LSU is young & learning, so no I don't think our secondary would shut them down - completely. But no way does Baylor or Oklahoma complete 74.3% passing on LSU right now. And I do think LSU would beat many of the teams you listed.

I agree, Shepard is a tremendous looking QB. Whoever is questioning him at QB simply don't know know what they're talking about. Very good arm strength & unbelievable footwark. He's #1 for a reason. Will be interesting to see what he can do in Spring Practice. Also Chris Garrett will be joining Shepard enrolling early & participating in the Spring. Should be very competitive at QB.

We are comparing QBs and their stats not the teams, LSU has far more talent than Baylor period. Do we really need to compare who Lee is throwing or handing off to compared to Robert Griffin.
