Kanas State has issued an apology for it's student athletes behavior during the recent Big 12 Championship game. "Their blatant disregard for and the lack of respect shown the Oklahoma football team was uncalled for and will not be tolerated. When you are in the presence of greatness, you just don't behave that way. If we ever have an opportunity like this again in the future, we will roll over like the rest of our league."
It was good. If we win the Sugar Bowl they will say we did not deserve it and that the trophy is really going to go to USC, even after they lose.(because their loss had to do with all the trauma they have had to deal with.) Trev Alberts will present the trophy to them at a special parade in downtown L.A. on April fools day.
Good joke. I thought it was funny. If a guy can't post a little joke around here without being pilloried by some, then we need to lighten up. :geaux: :lsug:
Relax! The winner of the Sugar Bowl is the real thing. Yes, USC feels left out, but can you blame them? I think the data speaks for itself and if you consider the year as a whole, the right teams are in the Sugar Bowl. If OU had been left out this year like USC, I would feel the same as they do. But, since all of the debate has been stirred and I had time to think it through. I think the matchup in NO is right. I never really thought LSU would be left out, I guessed USC or OU. Anyway, next year if OU is left out under the same circumstances as USC this year, I can live with that. A loss is a loss regardless of when it occurs. It is who the loss is to that should count.
Well, what I hate is. The USC whining is not nearly as annoying to me than hearing Nick Saban named every five minutes as the leading candidate to replace each of the 15 NFL head coaches who are supposed to lose their jobs before next season. I find that VERY annoying, and I'll bet Coach Saban does, too. His agent, Jimmy Sexton, must be one hell of a good agent! :geaux: :lsug:
