Just goes to show you what everyones said for years...from top to bottom the SEC "is" the toughest conference in the nation. Only problem is we keep beating the hell outa each other. BTW...little note here: They way I heard it was, Florida State was invited to join the SEC and Bowden wanted "no" part of that. Granted, it may just have just been a rumor some "Gator" fan kicked up years ago, but it makes sense. I dont think Fl St would have gotten to those NC games had they chose to "join" up. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Apologys for the double posts guys...worked all night and I'm still a tad tired.:cry::cry::cry::cry: :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
It's a bit of a double-edged sword for OSU, because if they drop a game, they will plummet given the relative strength of the two teams (as others have pointed out). Whereas LSU didn't drop lower than #5 given the 3 OT and the strength of UK at the time.
If tOSU loses a game.. I expect to see them no higher than #8-10. If they lose to michigan.. (Provided Michigan keeps winning) I'd expect them to drop to #5 or so. :geauxtige
You are in love with hair splitting aren't you. Here's the question I want to ask you. Do you think teams like Ohio State and USC would be able to DOMINATE the SEC???? NO SIR RE BOB. SEC is the best conference. You put any team you think is a DOMINANT team...and put em in the SEC and see how DOMINANT they remain. Quit trying to convince us that the SEC is not as dominating as we think it is...because it is, and it makes you look like you need to be on Rome is burning to me. :insane:
I am retarded, that's why.:insane: I don't know. I quite caring after I ranked LSU #1. I should have just took a nap after that.
Notre Dame to rake in $1.3 million from BCS this year Just a friendly reminder: Everyone's favorite one-win team will receive a check for approximately $1.3 million dollars this year for not playing in the Bowl Championship Series.
