This statement alone tells me that you haven't done your homework because if you had you would know that the President's budget was never voted on. In fact, what was voted down 99-0 was a bill introduced by Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) that hit the same end numbers that the President's budget does but contained none of the specifics, which obviously are key. Thus your argument is moot. Attached is the bill that Senator Sessions introduced for that 99-0 vote.

B/c it is my understanding that the current plan, aside from Obama's rhetoric speeches, is that the Bush tax cuts will expire and taxes will go up, with or without a new budget.
