If you knew anything about this team, you would know that Crowton learned the current LSU offense, formations, and terminology, etc upon his accepting the job and has/is tweaking what was already in place to prevent the team from having to learn a new system. That's not to say he hasn't designed his own plays and hasn't put his signature on the offense. It was just his way of making the transition easier for all involved. A very smart move on his part and most definitely the right approach.

Werd! You don't install a new offensive package over the spring...you work with what the players already know...and add your own niche to it as you go. Gary Crowton's "package" will be fully installed in about 2 years or so, I would guess.

Well, most of us think that playing both quarterbacks is best. It complicates the game planning immensely for the Florida DC this week and complicates the game managment for the Florida defense on Saturday.

If you would have told me at the first of the year we were gonna have a sophmore QB starting for us this year I would have said we lose 2 maybe 3 games. You just can't beat senior leadership on the field when the chips are down. I think last week Florida found this out with Tebow.

RP will be the man next year and with the playing time and experience he is getting this year we shouldn't miss a beat. This year is just too early to throw him in as a starter against the best team we'll see all year.

I like the way we are using our QBs and in doing so it will earn us a :crystal:

To anybody that knows about the mechanics of throwing the football it is understandable the problems MF is having with a problem ankle.

For precise throws in the pocket you need to be able to transfer your weight from the back foot to the front. That is why MF passes are sailing a little high because with his injury it is affecting that transfer therefore he is releasing the ball higher without the proper follow through.

It would be better to have him roll out a little and use his momentum of movement to help him with his release.

I think Fla. is gonna be blitzing alot and we should be running the plays that Kentucky was using on their last TD drive and that is quick screens and screen passes to counteract.
