This is the worst LSU offensive line in YEARS.

We have so many special players, perhaps in the future our 5 star recruits should be across the offensive and defensive lines.

He has been doing it for three years, you don't wait till you are in a dog fight to try and get your team in a grove. IMHO The team has no identity what so every... basically a few individual big plays have been made in each game to make it look like it wasn't a close game... it doesn't look like a team at all.

And for the record I hate the whole setup at the line and then see what the OC wants to call every play... I can see it in certain situations but they are basically down to doing every play.

Exactly the play calling is predictable. That's a problem.

This team will be fairly easy to defend against better defenses like Bama, Ole Miss and Florida.

I'll bet I'm thinking what you are thinking - and I'm pretty sure YOU are right!

The personnel gives up what play is going to be called, he did mix it up on a couple tonight but pretty much it's an easy night for the opposing DC... yeah we scored 31 but the defense was in a position for every play... the DC had the right plays called... he gave his players a chance to compete.... just like last week and the week before.

If CGC is going to ever go AGAINST our tendencies to surprise someone, don't you think he might want to establish some tendencies that will set them up? It's a marathon, not a sprint. And there really is some long-term strategy involved. Trust me. I'm a doctor. :geaux:

No, I don't think that is the master plan. You get your team ready to play and get better.

Sure, you can leave a few plays in the playbook but you don't change the whole offense in a week... he is been doing the same thing every week for going on three years now. It's like guessing what type of defense the Tampa Bay Bucs are going to play.

It's the not necessarily the play calling... it's the obvious play calling with the personnel you have in there... he isn't going to change that. IMHO

There is no identity to the team at all, them winning in the SEC will rest on finding an identity. I think I know what might work but I am afraid most Tiger fans will want to lynch me.

I lol'd... and quit reading after this.

But really, Miles says this is the best line he has ever coached. They did not dominate anyone on purpose.

Bet he'd like to take that one back, don't you think?

Nah... you know he'd say it all over again on Monday if asked.
