I'm not quite sure about that. In 1999, LSU held Arkansas to 10 points and Miss State to 17. In '98, Miss State (they were ranked at the time) scored 6 points and Auburn scored 19. What's significant about that? LSU only held South Carolina (in SEC play) to under 20 points this year. This defense could very well be worse than Lou Tepper's masterful schemes.
