There a thread on the auburn board from an auburn mother. She said that she had been advised "not to where her Auburn shirts or colors" and that the "LSUPD refused to protect her." That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There isn't a stadium out there in the United States where it is that bad. She is acting like she needs a police escort to and from her car and back to her hotel. What a loser. It's people like that who start stupid shit like this...I can imagine what will happen if an LSU fan, in a typical friendly gesture, offers her a beer or a burger...she would probably mace the guy. Auburn fans on this board, please tell me that isn't really the general consesus?
No Its not how the majority of us feel. If I were going, Id go into the day with an open mind, ready to enjoy the experience. But Id definitely be careful about what I said, because you never know if someone is going to be drunk and take what you say the wrong way and get upset. I say that coming from the other perspective, meaning that Ive been known to yell at random people myself when Im really drunk sometimes. But no, I dont think Auburn fans went and packed their riot gear in preparation for this weekend. WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
That is hilarious. Auburn fans are just so perfect! I was pushed by grown men with mullets atleast 3 times last year at Auburn and also had a 30-something woman grab me by my shirt and yell and point in my face...I laughed it off though. It was actually pretty damn funny. Had it been a man, he would have been decked.
I was in the band a few years ago when we went to Auburn. The buses dropped us off right in front of the frat houses. As we unloaded, we had several people throwing lit cigarettes at us. There have been 2 rapes on campus since August. It's a serious issue and always a problem on campuses where thousand of young women live and study. So what do we see on the Auburn boards this morning? "Gang rapes at last two LSU games!". There are some very disturbed people over there that are going way over the line to make LSU sound like some kind of combat zone. I appreciate our friendly Auburn posters who remind us that they aren't all that way.
A friend of mine came in town last night with a co-worker of his who is an Auburn grad. The guy was here maybe 20 minutes before he got into some $hit. A drunk LSU student says something to the effect of "Auburn SUCKS! Suck my ......" you get the picture. Well the Auburn guy was talking to a few girls that had just gotten back from the bars and he says something back to the LSU Student. Of course the LSU student gets all worked up and gets really obnoxious. We were trying to tell the Auburn guy to just ignore people like that. Let it roll off, you are in a hostile environment and you ARE the enemy! It's just some idiot college student who is drunk and won't even remember this in the morning but the Auburn fan just kept on giving the LSU kid reasons to get all worked up. Barely took 20 minutes and there was already trouble. The Auburn guy is staying in my apartment, am I a bad person for this? haha
Another thing These Auburn fans are also some that dont keep too up to date on stuff going on at Auburn. Because if they did they would know that there was a rapist/attacker kind of guy on Auburns campus last summer and fall also. There are sickos like that everywhere I guess. WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
