we are competitive. we aren't on par YET due to the infractions incurred under Brown. Are we close to doing so? you bet. is brady going to take us to where we need to be? we don't know yet since LSU hasnt had a fair playing field long enough to determine this. no its fact, not an excuse. do i think brady can take us there? not sure but i sure as hell dont think hes doing such a bad job.

lol i always liked BK growing up and respected his coaching ability. too bad his way doesnt really work anymore. he is a tyrant times 1000 of JB. BK wants to go back to the big 10 to slap his old school down and break dean's record but the big 10 records as well. LSU is not ready to deal with this guy and being basketball is 3rd on the list of sports, he doesn't play 2nd fiddle to anyone.

let's recap sports rankings @ LSU

    1 Football
    2 Recruiting
3 whatever other sport is winning
    4 Football

    '

I'm hoping Brady and the LSU program suceeds this and next year but if we do have to get a new coach 1 day that isn't a
    bad idea.

I will have to do some research and find some info on their coach

    LOL,

It isn't like we haven't stolen a Vandy Coach before but I would
hope the results would be a little better next time

    Re: Who are they......

So you want to be competitive with ZeroU do you? Better take another look my friend. They probably won't even make the dance after being ranked #1 earlier in the year. Personally, I much prefer Brady to Sampson, but that's just me. I think they are about equal in coaching and recruiting ability but I like Brady better.

I keep hearing about budding talent and this great freshman class but Bass is the only one of these freshmen that have shown much of anything this year so i will reserve judgement on them being good till I actually see them play good over the course of several games. Bass I have seen enough to think he will be a very good player one day. Also, if beating 10 bad teams OOC and splitting the SEC schedule is good in your opinion then I guess going 7-4 or 6-5 in football would be a good year to you also. That's not what I would consider a good season.

Its unrealistic expectations that we couldn't compete against Miss St, Vandy, Auburn the 1st time around, I see.

Its unrealistic expectations to score more than 10 points in a half.

The 18-8 record is deceiving, I would argue that there are teams
with 1 or 2 more losses that played tougher schedules that are
just as good if not better than LSU

I'm pretty sure I support the basketball program more than most ... I have season tix. But just because I support the program doesn't mean I support Brady!

    Do you own season tix?

It IS unrealistic to expect a team with a starting lineup
consisting of four freshmen and a sophomore to reach the levels that our football and baseball programs have...and that was the original point of my post, if you read it carefully. Get real, man, because THIS is what we're faced with. And while I'm neither a Brady-basher nor a Brady-supporter, the fact remains
that Jaime Lloreda, while extremely talented and the player that
this team rallied around, was a head case...and that is not Brady's fault.

Yeah, there may be teams with 1 or 2 more losses that are better
than LSU...once again, how many of them are starting 4 freshmen and a sophomore, after losing a senior center? How many of them lost 3 seniors last year w/ Sweet 16 experience and are this competitive?
