This is going to be an extremely low scoring game as it has been for years now. I say LSU 13 AU 7 I also say LSU will have atleast 200 rushing yards with everyone getting in on the run...RP, Flynn, Keiland, Charles Scott, Trindon, Richard Murphy and of course JACOB HESTER! :tigerhead
But after we beat AU and we are talking about the Bama game, will you be saying that you don't see Bama losing to AU? I sure wish the AU/Bama game would have been early in the season. We have been burned before by that one. I am with HatcherTiger on this one, we will be saying that every week. But I will take it a step further and say that every game up to now has been a game that defined the season (and I thought of every game in that way). How is that for vague? :hihi:
I agree with most of the comments that every week will be important but I believe we will look back on this season as to how we responded to our loss to KY.
The Auburn-LSU game is always one of the best of the year (and my personal favorite game of each year). It often plays a huge role in determining who goes to Atlanta. This year should be more of the same. Huge swing game for both teams. I don't think Alabama is really going to stay in the SEC West hunt, so this game will give the winner a 1.5 game edge in representing the West.
Losing WOULD BE UNRAVELING and ruin the season. (my opinion) Being number 1 in the nation, Nat Champ Game in NO, and then not even winning the west would be awful......Damn, I get chills (the bad kind) even thinking about it. I hope I can sleep tonight. Heres to us getting back on track and rolling this weekend (rolling = a 1pt win in my mind). GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!
Auburn and LSU each have one SEC loss. Whoever wins Saturday will give the loser their second SEC loss. However, because head-to-head is the first tie-breaker, the winner really has more than a one game lead, they have what is treated like a one and a half game lead. I.e. say LSU wins against Auburn. Auburn then wins out but LSU somehow loses to Arkansas. Both Auburn and LSU would have 6-2 SEC records, but LSU would go to Atlanta b/c they have the tiebreaker. So this game really counts like 1.5, because the winner has more than just a one game edge, they have one game plus a tie breaker. It is less than a two game edge though, b/c if one team has a better record, they go to the SECCG. Thus, since it is between one and two, I called it 1.5.
