Most reports put the torpedo at just after midnight on the 30th but a few reports suggest it happened prior to midnight. Really, at this point.....does it matter? Out of 1197, only 317 survived but perhaps the biggest misconception about the incident is how many other deaths and causes of death were NOT related to sharks.
I got it from Google search. But looking at wiki it was torpedoed at 0015 on the 30th. So brittanica is correct. However, in the articles i read it does not give a time zone. So you could argue that if your basis is Zulu time it did occur on the 29th.
