    On this day in 1945, the Allied powers accepted Japan's unconditional surrender, ending WWII.

    On this day in 1880, the Cologne Cathedral in Germany is declared complete. It took 632 years to complete the Gothic structure, which has withstood 2 world wars.

    On this day in 1975, The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuts in London. Its US debut comes a month later.

    I've seen pictures of the outside, never the inside. I don't think you'd call that Gothic. I'd call it mud dauber.
