Man you guys are smoking something and not sharing. This is fuggin awesome... think of how bad ass it's going to be when LSU wins it's third crystal trophy at the expense of Alabama, and Nick Saban. Man that is going to be like a dream come true.

I feel like if we win, it will be a relief, and if we lose, it will be a cataclysmic disaster of biblical proportions.

In my day, we used to walk in the blinding snow 17 miles just to get to the BCS title game......

Put this in your pipe and smoke it!
CLM's record in Bowl Games vs Nick Saban's record.
    CLM's record against Bama
    CNS's record vs LSU

Look at the way JJ has played in past bowl games vs the regular season. Look at the way LSU teams play in post season games.
CNS's teams find a way to lose games, look at his teams in big games or bowl games. They are very good during the regular season but not always as good in post season.

Agreed, I think that Saban's dictator attitude cause his teams to be rigid in big games. LSU is going to be loose and having fun.

This is a statement game for us. Winning it says we are THE team of the BCS era! I have only dreamed of going 14-0. This is the first year that I stated it as a possibility. We have come to far to let up now.

LSU will not be denied. Yes it is hard to stay pumped up for this long. But we will be at 100% come game day.

    Geaux Undefeated!

Load that pipe with these thoughts also. The game is played indoors, LSU's recent record vs. Bama's recent record. LSU is playing, not only as they did in 2003 and 2007, but better. The game is in New Orleans and it seems to be LSU's destiny or at least a trend. Even if it's just a trend, I'll take that over the Gump's so called tradition, because the Bear is dead along with leather helmets and their make believe 178 championships.

Exactly. And that's not to mention that we're playing our biggest rival (at the moment), who oh by the way is coached by our former coach. Talk about unlimited bragging rights. We'd never have to deal with a bama troll ever again.

Personally, I love how everyone in the media keeps saying that bama outplayed LSU on 11/5 and that they should have won. I'm hoping their team buys into it. Talk about a psychological advantage for LSU. A sense of entitlement is exactly what we want bama to go into this game with. We're the least-respected favorite/13-0 team ever (at least with respect to this match-up). And honestly, I CANNOT FUGGIN' WAIT to show the gump nation what we have in store for them (stay tuned, I plan on detailing this in a thread soon).

Good post and remember that Bama may very well have lost to Texas in the 09' bcsncg had McCoy not gone down. Texas came out hot and actually looked like the better team before McCoy got taken out of the game and still Texas came pretty close to a comeback victory with their backup QB. Your point is an excellent one about his players being rigid in big games. Saban creates anxiety and anxiety is never good for performance. You wanna be well prepared but loose come gametime.----->LSU
