This Bama rematch is simply feeling anti-climatic to me

What you have typed is true

This NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game seems to me like the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP that we have invited the rest of College football yo sit back . relax , and watch . Watch the best football played in college ranks , just because this is The SEC at it's best .
Now young lady you like myself remember the last bowl rematch game to save the Sugar Bowl. We just got our butts kicked in that game .As of today in rematch Bowl games as far as I can remember we are 0-1 . I hope that changes , to 1-1 . But this rematch will be a harder to win game the the 1st game was .And that was not an easy win . This team has done what I have looked for since the 1958 team. I would think that this LSU team has done more than they even dreamed of doing . I hope that this team is not sastified , but still hungry , a hungry team will fight . A satisfied team, ... it will lose its motivation.
Maybe Les should have this team watch this game Ledet: LSU Tigers might be hard-pressed to be emotionally ready for rematch with Alabama | The Town Talk | thetowntalk.com

I feel the same. Not really excited about the game like I usually am. I am more worried we lose the important one (like I stated in another thread). I have always wanted Miles to win a NC with HIS players, as I hate hearing how Saban left the cupboard full. This would be his chance to do it. He could step out of the shadow of Nick (as far as the rest of the country views him). On the other hand should we lose we will have to hear how Saban is so much better and is the first with 3 NC etc.,etc. I would rather Les have that distinction as he did not leave us for greener pastures and has proved his loyalty to Baton Rouge. He has proved to have great character and has instilled that in his players. It just does not excite me to know that all of the glory awaiting our team and coaches can be lost to a team that we beat already and was allowed to back their way into the position we had to work for.

While I thought Okie St was a little more deserving than Bama and may have been a more interesting matchup nationally, I think (as an LSU fan) that the Bama matchup is the perfect climax to the season. I can't think of any opponent I'd rather play to cap off this glorious season with our two embattled QBs going out on top.

Also, the eerily similar margin of victories for LSU & Bama over common opponents and the 9-6 game give me a want to see us play again. In the dome with our damn stronger team this year, I feel really good about the game.

I'm actually way more excited about playing Bama then I would've been vs. almost anyone else. LSU has a chance to have the 1st 10-0 SEC season ever. With a win, it would be the 1st perfect season in my lifetime and also be remembered as probably, at least, the best BCS champ ever and the best SEC team ever. I'm more excited about this title game than either of the other two.

I agree with you, I like our chances too!
I wanna hear Bama say once again that the best team didn't win!:hihi::grin:
Get your excuses ready Bama, Bam, Bam, Bam.
Special teams is going to cost them again whether it be a kicker or in the return game.

I agree with both of you

I want to see Bama shut down at the 30 yard line for the complete game again !
