This Bama rematch is simply feeling anti-climatic to me

When game time rolls around I'll be just as excited as I was last time around. I'll never be as excited as I was on 2003. I also disagree with the conference champion thing. I would have liked to play OSU instead of a rematch but believe the strength of the SEC and the way it is perceived is a good thing and is the reason we played against Ohio St. So I'm ok with the way this worked out, the strength of the SEC might well help us again next season of we happen to lose one game.

Enough with the holier than thou crap, we have a championship game against the #2 team in the country in a couple of weeks. Better start getting excited.

We are primed to become the first 3 time BCS champion 4 years after becoming the first 2 time BCS champion.

And to celebrate I'm going to watch all the games I have from this year again!
Starting tonight or tomorrow, once or twice a week leading up until the 9th.
We do have 1 game left even though we are SEC Champs and 13-0. Its about to get much sweeter, trust me, you will be happy on the 9th!

I feel like we did all the work: ran the table 12-0, beat "Bama in their house fair & square, won the SECCG--making it 13-0.

    The upshot? (Think about it!)

Bama gets invited to the big dance on our proficiency. They specifically did not:

    --run their table

    --beat LSU in either house

    --win their conference

But they get a chance to take it all home anyway.

And, if they manage to do so, you know that they will say that the LSU loss
was just a fluke/Bama/gimme--that any LSU win doesn't really count anyway--ya know, just an off day for Bama, 'we gave them the win', yada yada yada!

I KNOW--this was beaten to death already but hey!

    Nope

It ain't over until it's over and unless we beat Bama on the 9th this season will fall short of what was expected. Beating Bama on Nov 5th will do nothing for us on Jan 9th.

    SEC Champs !!! love

    BCSNC !! !twocrystals! :crystal::crystal::crystal:

I need it all - If Bama was to win on the 9th (BIG IF) I would feel like they broke into my house and stole what was mine !

For those of you still boohooing, I suggest you drop the snot rags and get behind this team with some fire in your belly! Accept what is and have faith that this team will not be denied. Embrace the fact that we have a chance to dash Bama's hopes twice in one season. We have a chance to be the biggest thorn in their sides since the sanctions, a bigger hurdle for them than the English language. So get out of victim mode and show some heart cause I guarantee you the team isn't sitting around crying. They're getting geared up to show the nation why we're number 1! :geauxtige

Everyone thought that after both LSU and Florida got the benefit of the doubt. As long as the SEC keeps showing it's supremacy I believe we will benefit from playing in the SEC when it comes to BCS rankings. History tells me that is true.

Why is this still being talked about? It serves to do nothing but make Bamafan think we're whiners who are afraid of their team. Let it go. We beat them on their home turf while playing our worst offensive game of the year. We can beat them in the Dome, and we will.
