4 or 8 years from now, after abandoning aggressive defense in favor of diplomacy and taxing the hell out of those who work in favor of bringing bone idle leeches up the the "American" standard of living, all of you "change" advocates are going to be screaming for Republican leadership. That is assuming we're not all too busy rebuilding our major metropolises.
It's how I feel, MM. Your candidate scares the hell out of me. It's like picking the snot nosed first born to run the Fortune 500 company. He shows promise but he ain't ready yet. Obama, and his supporters, in their zeal to shed one more historical shackle are blinded to the reality of what being POTUS involves. Junior Senators should not even be eligible to run.
Your entitled to feel that way, I just think those predicitions are a bit wild. Everything that has happened in the past 8 years, happened on G.Ws' watch. I am scared of having McCain myself, because he wants to continue some of the same policies that have gotten us in this mess right now. I believe that violence begats violence. I know war is sometimes necessary, but my belief is that it should be a last resort. Also the economy is a worry of mine as well. Im not as old as you are, so I guess my priorities and phlisophies on life are a bit different. Which is totally fine.
