You thought wrong. I'm talking about the old timers. They were born Democrat and are going to die Democrat and there's no getting through to them. Believe me. I've tried.

    ????

If the election were held today, Obama would win the popular vote but McCain would have 274 electoral votes.

Ohio and Florida are pretty much going to go for McCain.

Obama will come back from his trip even further behind because the youth vote is deserting him in droves because of gas prices.

He may be dreaming, but at least its a nice one. Although good ol barrack is doing a nice enough job lately of getting people to take notice. I hope the armor is kinking enough so that people see that he is a fraud. Man I don't like McCain but I sure as hell hope that the senator from Ill doesn't pull this thing off.

I ain't a big fan of either of them at this point. I think both are basically competent, but both are potentially flawed, as well.

All things being equal, we need the Republicans out of the White House for a while. McCain would stack an already right-wing Supreme Court with more ultra-conservatives, could veto democratic Congress' efforts to fix the problems of the last 8 years, and imprudently bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.

I'm not opposed to getting the republicans out of the white house but I am absolutely opposed to replacing him with, and yes, I'm going to say it. A socialist like obama. McCain is at least a democrat. Anyone who co-sponsors a bill with ted kennedy is many things but a conservative aint one of em. Hell I'd rather put cajun sensation in the whit house before I see B.O. sit there. (No offense G I meant that in the best of ways.)
