In spite of what the liberal media says about how the racial divide has been reduced, I'll bet that at least 30% of White Democrats will look at Obama's race before they look at party loyalty. I would venture to say that all of us have seen our local versions of Rev. Wright's mentality and it won't play in the heartland where the election will be decided. The Democrats made another stupid choice for their nominee in a year where they should be cleaning up.
I can't speak for Georgia but down here in Cajun Country, the old timers wouldn't vote for a Republican even if he was running against a raghead. Oh wait...McCain is! :hihi:
Isn't the choice in 2008 better than the choices we had in 2004 and 2000? If not Obama than who? I often question during presidential and political elections in general, "Is this the best our country has to offer?" Usually I doubt it, but the money and benefits for public office probably aren't near the top of the list of job possibilities, especially when compared against the stress level of the job.
