So you're saying it takes unconventional means to fight terrorists? You're absolutely right. Problem is, the Dems in Congress along with the liberal media have done everything they can to undermine our attempts to use those unconventional means. When we're willing to jeopardize the safety of our soldiers in the field to protect the "rights" of prisoners of war, we're investing in our own defeat. You're obviously a well-read fellow, red, admittedly better than me. Try Dereliction of Duty, it will give you a totally different outlook on defense during the Clinton Administration, from someone who was in the room when it was happening.
My point was what is there, like 300 million people in this country? I don't know, number could be off, its not really important. The point is, of EVERYONE that we have, this is what we have to choose from. Give me a GD break. If you can honestly tell me you are tickled over these two candidates then you my friend have real issues.
As he should have and it never really mattered to me where it came from, as long as it got there. That crap saved my bacon more times than I care to remember. He is still a liberal in every sense of the word.
thats too simplistic. its not just how much $$$ one rich guy has, its how many of those rich there are. more and more are moving into this roll while the poor are being shat on.
I disagree, more and more are just going to work, investing their $$, and working hard to achieve the goals that they set, be it opening up a small business or whatever and some just sit around with thier hands out. Spare me the unemployment %'s , blah blah blah, there is work to be had they just have to do it. Thats why we have the immigration problem that we do. Too many are sitting on their A$$ES getting paid by us not to work. The job won't come knocking on their door, if you are unemployed, finding a job is your job.
So you're saying that it's not good for the middle class to move up and become rich? Are you a socialist?
i have no idea what any of this has to do with my post you quoted. i wrote nothing about unemployment. i do think people should work, and that our current system of very limited unemployment and welfare is acceptable. i dont know what immigration problem you are talking about.
no, its bad for such a large section of the population to be left behind. it is a sign of a wholly unsuccessful society. people can bitch and moan about whose fault it is, but the only important thing to do is create a society where the maximum % of people are happy/fulfilled/ whatever. it should be an ongoing struggle every society has. this society is losing that struggle. maybe. im not scared of a label. what is a socialist?
Somewhere in FSA I posted the definition. Anyway, for starters not letting anyone have more than the next guy. EVERYONE has to be equal. No growth, no promotion of hard work and effort. Duck here come the nuts. Anyway, what it has to do with your post is your stating that people are getting left behind. YES, EXACTLY, the lazy sob's that don't want to work. Why do you want to create a class warfare scenario and jealousy of the guy that is busting his hump, or has the knowledge to do smart things with his/her money. Don't hate the playa, hate the game. (had to do it) Bottom line, I'm "rich" nor will I probably ever be. But I am in a class where I will take it in the shorts from the B.O. plan and I'm sure I'm not alone. I'm not sure I'm following who you are talking about being "left behind" sounds a lot like sour grapes to me.
