Their is plenty of athletes that are lifelong LSU fans. I would worry if LSU sucked next year again though, it will start to take its effect on recruiting. You can't use the, "well every school has a down year" two years in a row. If LSU wins, we'll be fine in recruiting here, even with Tennessee/Bama in it. I think Saban will focus more of his resources home next year due to Tennessee sharing the border with them.
Named a recruit. He mentioned that he felt very good about a current LSU commitment.. and as far as I know we only had 1 unsigned commitment at the time. It's like pointing at a recruit to identifiy him instead of using his name. Or saying.. I feel pretty good about a recruit with a name starting with a J.
I really don't think the Randall/Benton thing had anything to do with it. JJ had his 15 minutes of fame and screwed it up.
